We have a high level of engagement in interdisciplinary research and with industry. Our research has impact across a range of diverse sectors including energy, advanced materials, engineering, finance and public health.
The Department's research activities are centrally located in our purpose-built Alan Turing Building, and we have a number of excellent facilities at our disposal.
Our research is organised into seven intersecting themes that span the mathematical sciences.
